Maryland Pet Sitting by Suzi - Bonded - Insured - Professional

Reference Letter

You won't find a better pet sitter. When we got out two boxer puppies [Taz is a black faced fawn and Frosty is a white boxer], we interviewed many sitters. Suzi was the only one that stood out as really caring for the pups and their well being, not just getting a new client. And to this day she has been outstanding. We have had her as our pet sitter since May 2005 and have nothing but incredible service from her. We've had her stay at our house many times when we've been away on vacation or work travel. On a daily basis when we are at work, Suzi comes by one or two times a day, whichever we need. For the first year she came twice a day since the pups were so little and since then she's come once a day, but always accommodates twice or more if a need arises [which it does at times since we live in Huntingtown and work in Silver Spring]. If we work late for some reason, she is flexible and comes later to let them out for us. She has taken care of our lawn and landscaping after we recently moved [sodded 1/2 an acre and two hillsides of plants]. She also cares for our daughter's 3 adopted guinea pigs. In December of 2007, we added a female English Mastiff puppy, Miley, to our family. Suzi again agreed to come by twice a day since our Miley couldn't wait more than a few hours to get some relief. Suzi also feeds Miley her mid-day meal, has given Miley meds for a UTI, post-surgery recovery, and anything else we have needed.

Suzi gives lots of love and attention to the pets she cares for. She talks to them, plays with them and gives them so much wonderful attention. I know this firsthand because I have come home early from work and witnessed it. On those occasions, the pups hadn't discovered that I was home yet and she didn't hear me either, so I could observe them together. It was terrific to see. If Suzi comes by for something when we're home, our boys and girl are just delighted to see her. They have grown up with her and adore her.

If any of them have needed medicine she is terrific at administering it, even when the pups weren't thrilled to take it. She has a lot of patience and creativity in getting them to take the medicine. Our fawn boxer, Taz, has had four surgeries so far [ACL surgery on each back leg and a third surgery to remove the plate and pins because the pins had grown into his femur and a fourth surgery on a broken back leg [ran into a wall]. He's a bit of a 'bouncy' boxer and his surgeries tell the tale! Suzi took incredible care of him, gave him all of his medicines that were scheduled during the day, walked each of the boys separately for the first few weeks of each post surgery, helped Taz up his ramp [he couldn't do stairs] and did whatever we needed.

We've had a tone of landscaping work done in the time that we have known Suzi and she's been more than willing to adjust to our changing needs. Some days the boys needed to be walked on leashes, some days just run and play in the backyard. Regardless of the situation, she adjusted and gave them lots of exercise and attention. And believe me, our yards [old and new house] have been a mud mess at times [redone septic, new pool at each house, landscaped each yard, new fence built at current house etc..] and she always cheerfully worked around it. Our houses never had mud in them from our shoes or the pups paws. Same goes for when it rains. She is very conscientious and careful.

You won't find better care for your dogs. We are truly lucky to have found Suzi. I am not a person who really likes the crates for dogs, I didn't grow up with that, but our boxers are much too mischievous right now to be left out while we are gone. Suzi gives them lots of love, exercise, and attention during the day when we are at work which gives me great piece of mind that our boys are well taken care of and just as spoiled by Suzi, as they are by us.

I'm very happy to recommend Suzi for your pet[s] care. You won't find a better sitter. She's the best, in so many ways.

If you need anything else, or have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer anything you'd like to know. If you'd like to talk to me, you are welcome to call. Home - 410-535-5024 or Cell - 240-271-4540.
